The third annual 414 for UWM Giving Day has concluded. We are still tallying the results, but we can already tell that it was one of the best giving days yet. We are now in a better position than ever to support our students at UWM and beyond because of the collective support of more than 1,600 Panthers across the country and around the world.

50 States Challenge for Military and Veterans Resource Center
When we have donors from all 50 states, it will unlock $5,000 from an anonymous donor to the Military and Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC). MAVRC works to address the challenges faced by current and former service members and their dependents. MAVRC is committed to assisting the military related students at UWM in completing successful transitions from the military, through their education and into the civilian workplace.

School of Architecture & Urban Planning alumni TJ Morley '88 and Renee Kubesh '88 have given $5,000, and when 15 donors give to the Architecture Scholarship Fund, it will unlock an additional $5,000 for the fund. The fund provides financial aid to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in the School of Architecture & Urban Planning.

When 5 donors give to the Economics General Fund, the William Holahan Prize Fund, or the Yoshio Niho Faculty Excellence Fund, it will unlock $1,000 from John Heywood to these funds. Peck School of the Arts alumna Marquayla (Quay) Ellison '13, along with alumni and friends, will match up to $600 to the Design & Visual Communication Scholarship fund in memory of Adream Blair, former associate professor in Art & Design. When the fund reaches $2,000, the scholarship can be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student in Art & Design.
