Combining an arts education and a full calendar of performances and exhibitions with professional connections to Milwaukee’s vibrant arts community, the Peck School of the Arts serves a unique role as Wisconsin’s only comprehensive public arts school.

Peck School graduates go on to achieve great success in their fields – art and design, dance, film and animation, music, theatre, and arts education – and their preparation starts day one. That’s because Peck School students are immersed in hands-on experiences throughout their entire education, and they are taught by faculty who are working professionals with deep insights into their industry. Peck School students are paired with advisors and mentors who specialize in connecting creative minds with the academic and personal support they need to succeed. Plus, Peck School students are eligible for a wide array of exclusive scholarships, clearing the way for our region’s next generation of artists to turn their talents into viable careers.

50 States Challenge for Military and Veterans Resource Center
When we have donors from all 50 states, it will unlock $5,000 from an anonymous donor to the Military and Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC). MAVRC works to address the challenges faced by current and former service members and their dependents. MAVRC is committed to assisting the military related students at UWM in completing successful transitions from the military, through their education and into the civilian workplace.

Design and Visual Communication Scholarship Fund Match (in memory of Adream Blair)
Peck School of the Arts alumna Marquayla (Quay) Ellison '13, along with alumni and friends, will match up to $600 to the Design & Visual Communication Scholarship fund in memory of Adream Blair, former associate professor in Art & Design. When the fund reaches $2,000, the scholarship can be awarded to an undergraduate or graduate student in Art & Design.
