UWM’s College of Engineering & Applied Science leverages top research university credentials, expert faculty and Wisconsin’s career-building location to provide a world-class education to over 2,000 students each year. 

Our researchers and students are tackling some of society's biggest problems—including cleaner energy, safer water, improved infrastructure, better health and advanced manufacturing.

Our priority needs:

  • CEAS Student Success Center: A gift to this fund assures students get the academic help they need, from the start, including one-on-one tutoring and multiple, welcoming study spaces for group and individual work.
  • Engineering Achievement Scholarship Fund: Approximately two thirds of our college's students have financial need; your gift enables them to focus on their studies and graduate on time. (We hear this a lot!)
  • CEAS New Frontiers Engineering Research Fund: Supporting the faculty doing world-changing research taking place in our labs has the additional benefit of also supporting the students who are doing hands-on research with these mentors.
  • Computer Science Academic Excellence Fund: Computer Science is the top major for the college. Your gift assures that those students with financial need receive the help they need to cross the finish line and graduate into this in-demand field.

50 States Challenge for Military and Veterans Resource Center
When we have donors from all 50 states, it will unlock $5,000 from an anonymous donor to the Military and Veterans Resource Center (MAVRC). MAVRC works to address the challenges faced by current and former service members and their dependents. MAVRC is committed to assisting the military related students at UWM in completing successful transitions from the military, through their education and into the civilian workplace.
